A long, sandy, 2km stretch of beach with breakwaters, making it perfect for children. There are bars, cafes, restaurants and watersports facilities on this popular family beach.
Governor’s Beach ★★★★★
A sandy beach with shallow clear waters, ideal for families and couples as the Western sunsets are stunning. The area is fantastic for snorkelling, boating and fishing.
Ladies Mile ★★★★★
The perfect beach for children and families due to the crystal clear shallow waters and the golden sand that stretches for miles. Lots of inflatables and activities for kids. Popular for windsurfing. Gentlemen welcome too!
Zias Beach Club ★★★★★
Aphrodite Hills has its own private beach located near Avdimou. It offers a sandy, child-friendly beach, beach facilities (sunbeds, umbrellas, towels), a bar and two restaurants. It is a quiet and tranquil hideaway perfect to wind away those lazy summer days by the sea.
Pissouri Bay ★★★★★
The closest lifeguard manned beach to resort. The beach itself is a sand pebble mix but the waters are crystal clear and this lively bay has cafes, restaurants and watersports aplenty. If you are lucky enough you may see some turtles in late Sept.
Coralia Beach ★★★★★
Little known by tourists, yet only a 5 minute drive past the busy Coral Bay Beach in Paphos. White sands, calm sea and views of the Coral Bay Hotel pier make this the perfect beach to unwind on. Set in a small bay, there are plenty of good snorkelling spots and a couple of nice eateries close by if you fancy a bite to eat.
There are some stunning beaches situated along the Chrysochou Bay from Polis to Pachyamos. Fishing, boat trips and sailing are the best in the area from here. Great for snorkelling.
Akamas Peninsula ★★★★★
The Akamas National park is well worth checking out if you are into discovering secluded beaches and bays. Lara Beach is a turtle sanctuary and the coast is unspoilt and great for picnics. A natural and undisturbed world that is best accessed with a 4 x 4.
Aphrodite’s Rock ★★★★★
A good stop off point for a quick dip and an opportunity to test the fable that says if you swim around the rock anti-clockwise at midnight in your birthday suit, you will achieve eternal youth. By day the sights are less concerning and the waters are clear with a sense of history as this is where Aphrodite is supposed to have risen from the waves, naked, of course.
